Photo Finish Salon App Reviews

I was wanting an app that would give me all this one does and sync with my iCal. So probably wont use this even though Ive purchased it. :(

This is a great app for a one person salon or chair rental. Not good for bigger salons. Its very basic and easy to use and love that I can take pics of clients and keep in with there info. It is missing a way to schedule your hours and lunch breaks, but I emailed them and there looking into it for the next update. Updated review...May10th 2012... There was supposed to a new update in January and I am still waiting.I have tried to email them 2xs about question I had and nobody has gotten back to me. I emailed 1 more time to tell them how bad there customer service was and again got no response. I thing they have abandon this app all together, so if you want customer support DONT get this app...I am not happy.

It looks more attractive than the others , I just wish I could do point of sale or even just send an invoice to the printer, that would be worth another $19.99!

Great app except for the client reminders which I paid $30 for arent working. Contacting support has not been helpful, I open support tickets but never receive a response. Would like to keep this program but will probably end up switching to something I can get help with....

The sms will not work. If I try to shut it off it kicks me out of the app

Is this app even real??? I have paid 30.00 for a yr subscription and it has not worked in 2 months..... How can I get a hold of the web developer? My customers rely on there e-mail and text reminders... I rely on this app that I purchased to work.....

So why is it my clients arent getting the reminders that I have paid this app to do? Very frustrating when my clients get mad at me for your mistake!!! I will not be renewing at the end of my year due to never keeping up with the updates.... This isnt the first issue Ive had with this app!!! I hope this helps for someone that is looking for a salon appointment app!!! Dont waste your money! No one will ever contact you when there is an issue!!!!!

Ok below was 3 stars now Im going down to 2. Ill promise to give 5 IF U GET MY CLIENTS PICS BACK ON THEIR FILES!!!! I had to delete the app and reinstall and when I logged in lost a bunch of stuff because the app kept closing out. Ive been using this app for 4 years and love a lot of features but its unreliable. PLEASE HELP YOUR LONG TURN CLIENT! Thanks. ------ Please update this app for bugs it keeps closing out on me. Usually love this app... Been using for years. My business relies on it. Yes, Ive restarted phone. Please help!

Is anyone else having trouble with this app? It seems it will work fine for a few months and then it wont connect to the server. My customers depend on there reminders, they are not receiving them. Does anybody know how to get in touch with the company??? I have paid for the app until 2/2016 I feel I am defiantly not getting what I have paid for... I would appreciate feed back. My customers are not receiving there reminders again..... Again I cannot e-mail the server will not connect....

This app is NOT DEPENDABLE! It says that it is sending reminders but clients are NOT receiving them! The only reason I pay $30/year is for the reminders! Please address this!

I just got this app and I want my money back

This is the most amazing app for colorist. I was Skeptical to pay for any salon Application. I did a lot of research. This application has everything! I have been using it for about three months now and I can honestly say it lacks for nothing in my opinion. I go between my iPad and iPhone it has so many options. (IE,) to Sync Manually Or automatically, Everything in this application is like that. Lots of options. I love that. You can communicate with clients, send emails ect. OH... OKAy.. The only thing this bad boy dose not do is let your client book apts for themselves online or buy products or anything like that. I like that I am in control of my Schedule Though.

I have had the app for 5 weeks and for the last week it has been frozen. I tried to contact the developer 4 times but got no response. I ended up having to delete the app and reinstall it. I uploaded my phone to iCloud first but still lost all my info on Photo Finish. All future appointments are gone. I am going to have to contact all of my clients and ask them when their appointments are. Its embarrassing, and unprofessional but out of my control. There are so many apps that are similar, dont get this one!

Ive noticed within the past few months the iPad software needs an update! The program is slow, freezes up, and just causes rebooking impossible in a timely manner!!! Please come out with an update!!

Like this app a lot,having a couple of problems. 1. Runs slow sometimes or cuts off. Sends to many reminders sometimes. One of my Clients got 5 in a 4 hour period. Can get the financial part of this app to work at all. The photo part of this app is wonderful.

It is way to glitchy. Every time you go to search for a client it shuts down. You cant enter a dollar amount for the services you give without going through hell. And now I noticed it says its going to renew after a month. I will not pay monthly for this crap. Also, the support is now non-existent. Totally worthless. My wife is having to rely on the pile of crap for her clients. As soon as we can afford to purchase a real piece of software we will go with them. I hope no one purchases this. Absolute junk

Ive been using Photo Finish for about 3 years and I like it, but lately its freezing and crashing ALL THE TIME. It freezes and then crashes about 4 to 5 times a day. Hopefully these bugs will be fixed soon

This a wonderful tool for my business. I have had this app for about two weeks and think I have pretty well explored it. For me I wish it had a few more features; 1. I would like it if right after I booked my client that it would e mail them so they can put it into their calendar or that the appointment would automatically go into their calendar 2. Repeat appointments. A repeat option. Right now that is all I can come up with. Over all once again a great tool. P.S. support leaves a bit to be desired.. Forgot one thing, in the field to record cost of service It isnt working for me. You just made a great app even greater with your updates. Thank you very much My issues have been resolved. I love that I can now book out for a personal appointment. I wish it would show up on the calendar like when I book a hair appointment

The app itself is great but do not sign up for the client connect. When I did it made the app start freezing up every time I used it. Also, my client received her text message reminder one night every minute for about 30 minutes until she had to turn her phone off to go to sleep. When she turned it in the next morning it started texting again. This was so embarrassing!! I turned off the client connect but I had all ready paid for the full year!! I have submitted a complaint to photo finish and I have not had a response!!

At first ,I thought it was good .Then crashes freeze ups etc.No support ,6 emails later and still nothing.Paid for the years fee to text clients .After the first month.It stopped sending reminders. I work for a manufacture in the hair industry also. And stylist ask me all the time what I use to book clients in my salon I now can tell them not this one
